What makes one decide to become a farmer?

From the perspective of urban person, #farm #animal care could be a real challenge. Something very odd. What makes a person decide to become a #farmer after, for instance, living in capital city?

What makes world's top class #sportsman -Olympic Games participant, two universities diploma holder, to change commodity for uncertainty? There is no rational explanation (in my case). Call it destiny.

It was quite an ordinary day when I sold my apartment in Belgrade and moved with my husband to the small mountain #village. The previous landlord was selling his property along with

goats, so goats were lucky to not move from their home. When you decide to live with animals, first of all, you must change your habits. Not to speak about typical day off or holiday. Forget about it!! And none of these facts you know in advance. You only have some images of how it could look like. Just a fade assumption. Previous experience counts up to some point. From there, you must play hazardous, like a typical gambler. Risk, uncertainty, new surroundings, neighbours, sleeping in the open space, what else…Will be there any sensation which used to keep our minds occupied? Obviously not.

We needed, barns, food for goats, house repair, everything. Fortunately, a strong connection between animals and ourselves was born. Later on, many more living creatures have found their home on our land- dogs, cats, sheep and geese.

When a person decides to become a farmer, she has to change habits completely. Daily duties have to meet animal's needs. You do not work 24 hours without a break but you work a lot. Physically it is very hard to endure. Forget New Years evening and another holiday. You have to milk goats and to take them to the woods! They do not know about New Years. Yes you are the business owner, but at the beginning (unless your parents are wealthy and generous enough) you are barn cleaner, shepherd, food producer, house wife, and marketing manager.
